Extended Practice Hours

Extended Access

Our practice is working in partnership to provide additional GP appointments between 18:30 – 20:00 during the week and also 09:00 - 11:00 over the weekend, If you need access to an evening or weekend non-urgent appointment, please call and speak to the receptionist at your registered practice during normal opening hours. 

Your appointment may be with another practice in the area and may not be at your registered practice.

If you need medical attention during these periods ring out of hours on 111.

The emergency number is available from 18:30 to 08:00 Monday to Thursday and from 18:30 on Friday continuously through the weekend until 08:00 on Monday morning (excluding bank holidays & statutory holidays).

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

NHS 111 Online

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally. 

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
